AFTER THE AUCTION


Once the auction has concluded, there are a few simple steps to see the results and, if you have won one or more lots, to conclude the purchase and organise collection or delivery.

- Results

After the auction, you can check whether your bid was successful in your customer area on our website. The Aste Bolaffi Customer Service will also send you a confirmation email confirming your purchases after the auction.

- Payment

The confirmation email will include payment (credit card, bank transfer, etc.) and collection options (collection in person, courier delivery, etc.). The final amount due will include the hammer price plus the commission. This will include any taxes (except for lots with ordinary VAT, clearly marked in the catalogue). All details regarding commissions can be found in the 'Terms and Conditions' section on the website and in the auction catalogue. Payment must be made before collecting your item(s) and within 10 days of the auction.

- Storage and delivery

Until the invoice has been paid, the lots will be stored at Aste Bolaffi and insured appropriately by Aste Bolaffi's. Shortly after payment, the Aste Bolaffi Customer Service will contact the customer to discuss and select the most suitable delivery method and costs. If lots are not collected or shipped within 15 days of the sale date, Aste Bolaffi reserves the right to apply storage costs. Any customs and export fees applicable to lots purchased by foreign clients are payable by the customer.

- Post-auction sales

In an auction with many lots, it is plausible that not all lots will always find a buyer. For 30 days after the auction, Aste Bolaffi offers the chance to purchase unsold lots via the buy now section on the website, where you can bid for available lots at the starting price plus commission. Aste Bolaffi reserves the right to refuse a bid.
