The items on sale include selected works by the most famous international artists, including Ansel Adams, Berenice Abott, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa and Steve McCurry as well as photographs by the masters of twentieth century Italian photography, from Luigi Ghirri to Mario Giacomelli and from Gabriele Basilico to Franco Fontana. The department also covers vintage photography with a careful selection of the most important artists from the nineteenth century.

Alongside the great names of Italian and international photography, auctions by this department also include selected lots of original photographs regarding cinema, fashion and design, for persons interested in developing a themed collection or simply looking to decorate their home with elegant images.
