The top lots of the section – which includes statues of Indian gods, Khmer bronze sculptures of Buddha from Thailand and Cambodia, Japanese panel lacquers and screens, as well as jade and celadon from China – are a sculpture of the Uma goddess (Cambodia, Khmer, Kheleang period, starting price 10.000 euros), a male torso of the same period (from 3.000 euros), and a composition of 12 figures and flowers in carved coral on an ivory base (China, Qing dynasty, early 19th century, from 8.000 euros).
Among the most precious objects of the European art section are a "Maternity" by Angelo Morbelli (1854-1919) in which the painter portrays his wife (from 20.000 euros), a "Marina" signed by Pompeo Mariani (from 8.000 euros), a Guillaume Beneman commode in mahogany and gilt bronze with white marble top (Paris, late 18th Century, from 15.000 euros), and a selection of pencil drawings on paper by artist
Giovanni Boldini (bidding to start at between 1.500 and 2.000 euros).
