Milan, March 26, 2019 - The prestigious ring with
18.39 carat Ceylon Blue sapphire and
two 3.85 carat triangular diamonds sold for
131,000 euros (lot 489) was the top lot of the
jewelry sale signed
Bolaffi Auctions that was held today in
Milan, in the Sala Puccini of the Grand Hotel et de Milan.
The auction closed with an overall revenue of
one million euros, including fees, and over
80% of lots sold. Excellent results in particular, for

8.24 carat Old European cut
diamond (lot 463,
50,000 euros), the unmounted round cut
5.70 carat diamond (lot 468,

23 overall carat diamond
choker (lot 485,
30,000 euros).
Also very contended were the
sets in
diamonds, corals and
sapphires composed of ring, brooch, earrings and bracelet with nature designs (lot 398,
21,250 euros), the elegant
1930s bracelet in platinum with geometric links and Old European cut and round diamonds, about
19 overall carats (lot 273,

18 carat diamond and
pearl pendant earrings from the 1950s (lot 406,

Success also for the creations by ceramist and goldsmith
Esa D'albisola, including the large yellow gold and green tourmaline
necklace (lot 347,

Umberto Mastroianni, the choker with large and round pendant decorated with mechanical elements (lot 454,
