Manifesto edito nel 1964 per la distribuzione di Spartacus, pellicola giovanile di Kubrick. Film interpretato dal grande Kirk Douglas,
che ne fu anche uno dei maggiori sponsor, pesantemente censurato dal Codice Hayes, fu vittima di una forte campagna di boicottaggio
che si concluse solo grazie all’approvazione del Presidente Kennedy. Realizzato sulla scia della grande produzione hollywoodiana
di kolossal epici, ancora oggi è considerato uno dei cento film americani più significativi. Piccoli difetti e segni del tempo.
