D’Alessandro ha più volte raccontato che Kubrick gli chiese di usare il nome Emilio per un negozio nelle vie che ricostruivano New York
negli studios di Pinewood. Apparentemente questo nome aveva anche una valenza affettiva per il regista, in quanto i suoi genitori
quando vivevano a Los Angeles, abitavano proprio al di sopra di una caffetteria che si chiamava così.

D'Alessandro has repeatedly said that Kubrick asked him to use the name Emilio for a shop in the streets of New York re-made at the
Pinewood studios. Apparently this name had also an emotional value for the director, because his parents had been living in Los Angeles
right above a café that was called that way.
